This is what happens when you start to read an exciting book to your daughter whilst waiting for the scones to cook....

Ooo! Those books sound right up our alley. We've been reading the Magic Tree House series by Mary Pope Osborne, which weaves US history into its stories while interestingly throwing in the characters of Morgan la Fey and Merlin regularly.
